ARA-290
PH-ARA290-001
Specifications
Description
ARA-290 (Cibinetide) is an 11-amino acid peptide derived from the tissue-protective domain of erythropoietin. This innate repair receptor agonist promotes tissue protection without erythropoietic effects.
Mechanism of Action
ARA-290 activates the innate repair receptor (IRR), a heteromer of erythropoietin receptor and CD131, triggering tissue-protective and anti-inflammatory signaling without affecting red blood cell production. Clinical studies show efficacy in small fiber neuropathy (Culver et al., 2017) and diabetic neuropathy (Brines et al., 2014).
Research Applications
- Small fiber neuropathy (Culver et al., 2017)
- Diabetic neuropathy research (Brines et al., 2014)
- Tissue repair mechanisms
- Anti-inflammatory pathways
