Mechanism of Action
Vilon (KE) was studied in an in vivo murine model for effects on spontaneous tumor growth and lifespan (Khavinson & Anisimov, 2000, title-level support, no abstract indexed). A separate, fully-indexed cDNA microarray study found 5-day Vilon treatment altered expression of 36 of ~15,247 screened clones in mouse heart tissue (PMID: 12360356, in vivo mouse).
