GHRP-6
PH-GHRP6-001
Specifications
Description
GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6) is a synthetic hexapeptide that potently stimulates growth hormone release through ghrelin receptor activation. This first-generation GHRP also significantly increases appetite.
Mechanism of Action
GHRP-6 binds to the ghrelin/growth hormone secretagogue receptor, triggering pulsatile GH release from the pituitary. Studies demonstrate utility in diagnosing GH deficiency (Popovic et al., 1996) and GH responses in hypothyroid patients (Mazza et al., 1997).
Research Applications
- GH deficiency diagnostics (Popovic et al., 1996)
- Hypothyroidism GH studies (Mazza et al., 1997)
- Appetite and feeding research
- Ghrelin receptor pharmacology

Research Overview
GHRP-6 is a synthetic peptide compound used in laboratory research settings. Researchers studying growth hormone releasing hormone pathways use this compound to investigate cellular signaling pathways, receptor binding affinities, and structure-activity relationships. Each batch is manufactured under controlled conditions and verified through HPLC and mass spectrometry analysis to ensure consistency across experimental replicates.
