Description
Tesamorelin is a stabilized analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1–44). The added trans-3-hexenoic acid group makes it more resistant to breakdown than native GHRH.
Mechanism
It binds GHRH receptors on the pituitary and prompts pulsatile growth-hormone release in the body's natural rhythm. Its effect on visceral adipose tissue, and how durable that effect was, have been examined in clinical research (Dhillon, 2011; Spooner et al., 2012).
Research Applications
- Visceral adipose tissue studies (Dhillon, 2011)
- GH-axis modulation
- Lipodystrophy research (Spooner et al., 2012)
- Body-composition and metabolic models

Verification
Storage & Handling
Storage
Tesamorelin is supplied as a lyophilized powder. Keep it sealed, dry, and away from light until reconstitution.
Reconstitution
Let the vial reach room temperature before opening, then add solvent slowly down the vial wall — do not shake.
Stability
Lyophilized material is stable when frozen. Once reconstituted, keep it cold and minimise handling to preserve integrity.
Research Overview
Tesamorelin is a synthetic peptide compound used in laboratory research settings. Researchers studying metabolic regulation and energy homeostasis use this compound to investigate cellular signaling pathways, receptor binding affinities, and structure-activity relationships. Each batch is manufactured under controlled conditions and verified through HPLC and mass spectrometry analysis to ensure consistency across experimental replicates.

Frequently Asked Questions
What purity is Tesamorelin?
Each lot of Tesamorelin is verified to 99.72% by HPLC and confirmed by mass spectrometry. Results are documented in a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.
Does Tesamorelin include a Certificate of Analysis?
Yes. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for Tesamorelin documents its purity and identity and is available on our COA page.
How should Tesamorelin be stored?
Tesamorelin is supplied as a lyophilized powder. For short-term storage keep it refrigerated; for long-term storage keep it frozen, away from light and moisture.
How is Tesamorelin shipped?
Orders ship at a $15 flat rate, free on orders over $199, in discreet, insulated packaging. Domestic delivery typically takes 1–3 business days.
Can Tesamorelin be used on humans or animals?
No. Tesamorelin is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not for human or veterinary use, consumption, or diagnostic or clinical applications.
