Description
Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide made of the first 29 amino acids of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1–29) — the shortest fragment that still triggers GH release.
Mechanism
It binds GHRH receptors on the pituitary, which then releases growth hormone in its natural pulsing pattern. Its use in assessing pituitary GH output has been described in research (Prakash & Goa, 1999; Walker, 2006).
Research Applications
- GH-axis and pituitary-function research (Prakash & Goa, 1999)
- GH-secretagogue pharmacology
- Age-related GH-decline models (Walker, 2006)
- Comparative GHRH-analog studies

Verification
Storage & Handling
Storage
Sermorelin is supplied as a lyophilized powder. Keep it sealed, dry, and away from light until reconstitution.
Reconstitution
Let the vial reach room temperature before opening, then add solvent slowly down the vial wall — do not shake.
Stability
Lyophilized material is stable when frozen. Once reconstituted, keep it cold and minimise handling to preserve integrity.
Research Overview
Sermorelin is a synthetic peptide compound used in laboratory research settings. Researchers studying growth hormone releasing hormone pathways use this compound to investigate cellular signaling pathways, receptor binding affinities, and structure-activity relationships. Each batch is manufactured under controlled conditions and verified through HPLC and mass spectrometry analysis to ensure consistency across experimental replicates.

Frequently Asked Questions
What purity is Sermorelin?
Each lot of Sermorelin is verified to ≥99% by HPLC and confirmed by mass spectrometry. Results are documented in a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.
Does Sermorelin include a Certificate of Analysis?
Yes. A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis for Sermorelin documents its purity and identity and is available on our COA page.
How should Sermorelin be stored?
Sermorelin is supplied as a lyophilized powder. For short-term storage keep it refrigerated; for long-term storage keep it frozen, away from light and moisture.
How is Sermorelin shipped?
Orders ship at a $15 flat rate, free on orders over $199, in discreet, insulated packaging. Domestic delivery typically takes 1–3 business days.
Can Sermorelin be used on humans or animals?
No. Sermorelin is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. It is not for human or veterinary use, consumption, or diagnostic or clinical applications.
