Hexarelin
PH-HEX-001
Specifications
Description
Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide growth hormone secretagogue with potent GH-releasing activity. This GHRP also exhibits cardioprotective properties independent of its GH-releasing effects.
Mechanism of Action
Hexarelin activates the ghrelin receptor to stimulate GH release from pituitary somatotrophs (Imbimbo et al., 1994). Studies show interaction with somatostatin pathways (Massoud et al., 1997) and influence of exogenous GH on hexarelin response (Massoud et al., 1995).
Research Applications
- Growth hormone secretion studies (Imbimbo et al., 1994)
- Somatostatin interaction research (Massoud et al., 1997)
- GH axis modulation (Massoud et al., 1995)
- Cardioprotection research

Research Overview
Hexarelin is a synthetic peptide compound used in laboratory research settings. Researchers studying growth hormone releasing hormone pathways use this compound to investigate cellular signaling pathways, receptor binding affinities, and structure-activity relationships. Each batch is manufactured under controlled conditions and verified through HPLC and mass spectrometry analysis to ensure consistency across experimental replicates.
